I don’t have a microwave oven, can I heat Magic Bag in conventional oven? 

Heating with microwave oven is the most efficient way to heat Magic Bag. You may use the one in the Pantry Room at your office.

Or you may use the conventional oven:

1. Preheat the oven to 170°C

2. Turn off the oven

2. Use a aluminium foil to separate the Magic Bag with the rack

3. Place the Magic Bag inside the oven (turned off) around 4-15 minutes (heating time based on the size of each Magic Bag, please refer to the “Directions for use”)

4. Use a timer to make sure the maximum heating time is not exceed

5. In order to preserve the moisture inside the Magic Bag, it is suggested to use 3 times or less daily

Never leave Magic Bag unattended while heating

Please make sure the temperature is a comfortable heat before application on the skin

For how long should Magic Bag be heated?

It depends on the size of your Magic Bag. It takes around 1-3 minutes (using 1000W microwave oven)

Read the instruction on the original label or “directions for use” from this webpage

For using different power of the microwave oven, heating time should be adjusted.

The suggested heating time is based on the power of 1000W. Therefore, if the power of microwave oven at your home is less than 1000W, heating time might have to adjusted or increased to reach a comfortable warmth. If the power of microwave oven is higher than 1000W, please decrease the suggested heating time to avoid over-heating.

Can a Magic Bag be overheated?

Yes, a bag heated for longer than the recommended time will overheat, and will start to smoke and can even burn in flames. For safety, it is suggested to check the temperature after heating time of 3o seconds. If the warmth is not enough, heat it up again for another 30 seconds and check the temperature again. Repeat this procedure again if necessary to reach a comfortable warmth.

Can Magic Bag be washed? 

Being a 100% natural product, it cannot be washed. Swipe it with wet towel if necessary.

Will Magic Bag breakdown or grow mold with humidity? 

All products of Magic Bag are treated with a patented process. The oats are subjected to heat and naturally cool down repeatedly until the oats are rendered inert. It is specific to the treatment to render them inert, anti fungal and anitmicrobial, while maintaining a relative humidity level of 11-13%.

It is suggested to keep the Magic Bag naturally cooled down and stored in a ventilated place. Avoid putting a moist-heated Magic Bag inside a plastic bag

If you want to store Magic Bag for a period of time, it is suggested to be placed with a dehumidifier.

How to keep your Magic Bag in good condition?

It is suggested to keep your used Magic Bag in a ventilated place in order to cool down naturally.

This is strongly suggested in order to let the oat grains resume their natural moisture. Oat grains heated more than 4 times a day won’t have enough time to regain their moisture and can overheat. For this reason we highly recommend purchasing a spare Magic Bag if you intend to use it more often.

Since Magic Bag is a 100% natural product based on oat grains, within time the effect of heating/cooling might diminish the grains resistance to maintain the heat/cold. This is why it is recommended to change Magic Bag after one hundred uses.

A lot of customers still consider that the Magic Bag is in good condition after one hundred uses.

Is Magic Bag recommended for pregnant women during delivery? Is Magic Bag recommended for Children as well?

YES, many pregnant women have testified that Magic Bag has helped during their labor. Several pre-natal classes and a number of hospitals advise moms-to-be to have their Magic Bag during this event.
